Does Grand Theft Auto Have To Much Violence?

In my opinion I believe Grand Theft Auto to be one of the best video games ever made in life. You are in the a character in a city and you can do whatever you like. The object of every Grand Theft Auto game is to get money from doing mission from mob bosses, friends or family. When you do these mission, you usually have to kill some one, a group of people, steal money, steal cars, protect someone, transport stuff  or follow someone in a car. At the end you eventually kill all the gangs in the city and you run everything. Now, after you rule the city; there is a lot more to do. After you finish all your main missions, there are side missions that can be played. The side missions are street races, putting out fires with a fire truck, save dying people with an ambulance, kill people committing crimes within a cop car, finding cars for an auto place and being a taxi driver. If you want, you don’t have to do any missions and walk around the city doing what you please. If you want to ride around all day, kill people, jump off buildings, fly a planes, drive boats, go to the strip club,  fly in a helicopter or jump off buildings and mountains; you can do anything.

Every Grand Theft Auto game that Rockstar Games the creators of Grand Theft Auto series came out with, has received a lot of bad and good publicity. The video game lovers gave it good publicity because they believe is one of the best games ever made. According to IGN.com one of the biggest video game review and information websites, Grand Theft Auto games are amazing. On the other side of the fence is parents and people who hate violence. The parents say there is to much violence in this game and it is all about killing people. The people who hate violence in video games, say that Grand Theft Auto games can influence someone to kill someone or make someone more violent. According to CBS news this is really happening on our streets, people are killing because they played hours of Grand Theft Auto (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/03/04/60minutes/main678261.shtml). There are also information that tries to influence people not to buy the video game (http://www.parentstv.org/ptc/videogames/reviews/vicecity.asp).

I find nothing to be wrong with the game. I love this game, it lets me do whatever I want to do. What do you think, Are Grand Theft Auto games to violent? Are people over reacting and should just play this azaming game? Should we limit violence in video games? Why is it that all children are affected differently from violent video games? Specialist claim the game is horrible for young kids, I been playing Grand Theft Auto since I was 11 years old and I have never been a fight or killed someone. So tell me what you think?

This essay is in a book about popular culture because many things on t.v. today help the belief of racial profiling. For example their are shows on t.v. that show racial profiling that happens in everyday life. When an Arab tries to board a plane, they will check him and not the white person in front or behind him. FW9: Halloween Costume

Well I really get a costume for Halloween. But one Halloween costume I would love to have is a gorilla suit, just walk around in it. I would just run around like a wild person and scaring any body you see. I would also hide in a brush and wait for the perfect time jump out and scare a group of people walking by, if they run, I’ll chase them down the block then disappear somewhere. Imagine being in the suit while being drunk or high, o man, noting good would come out of that.

I am not the person that gets mad. The only time I would flip out on somebody is if I am having a bad day or I am just not in the mood of hearing it. Usually when I get mad I just tell a person off or just walk away and wont talk to the person. It pisses me off when people talk about my mother, something that is not true about me. Little things piss me off when I am having a bad day.

FW7: High School Advice

Stop being so lazy. Pick up a dictionary and learn new vocabulary words to sound like a smarter person. I really don’t know what else to tell myself. Try to be more organize, learn some good study skills. Don’t be releaxed about everything. Get a job make some money to go into college with in the fall. I don’t know.

FW6: Favorite Toy

I loved my power ranger toys growing up. I had all of them, everytime my father or mother went inside a toysrus, I would run to the power ranger section and just look for one i didnt have and go run to my father or mother and tell them to buy it for me. I watched the show every saturday morning, i use to have so many of the toys, i would set up sences from the movies and shows. I would make battles with my friends because he also had power ranger toys. I also had the pjs. I was power ranger crazy when i was younger. I use to love watching the commercials about the new toys coming out. For my birthdays i use to get just a bunch of power rangers.

The red ranger was the best until the white one came.

Gender TV changes the way we think about males and females. In movies, music videos you might see a strong man calling a woman a hoe, slut,or bitch and that makes men today think it is right to call a woman those names. It also shows men that they have to be strong. You also see that on TV woman are skinny, with make up on and sexy, which make everyone believe that women have to be exactly like that to be perfect. Gender TV also starts name calling in school because kids in school see it on tv and say they have to be like that person on tv to be cool, and when they go to school and see other kids that dont do the same as on tv, they make fun of that kid that doesnt follow what is on tv because he think they are not cool. When I woke up from bed I went to play basketball. When I was at the park, I just started to dunk over people. I had a crazy crossover and an automatic shot from anywhere. I didnt matter where I was shooting from, it just went in the hoop. Many after the game I should go hit up practice with Paul Gasol. Or many I will go wear my NIKE Hyperdunks and jump over another car, or jump over a pool of snakes with the guys from jackass. I should make another sneaker with nike.
